so, von den gälischen folk kriegern (man spricht sie übrigens in etwa "ma-el mohga" aus; hätte das natürlich auch in den pagan/folk thread geben können) gibts auch wieder mal ein neues werk in absehbarer zeit:
"WORK THE NEW ALBUM IS FINALLY FINISHED!!! It will be released by Candlelight in a few months’ time (exact timing TBC soon).
This is our first album as a four piece following the departure of Anto in 2011. It was recorded at Foel Studios in Wales, produced by Chris Fielding (Winterfylleth, Electric Wizard, Mourning Beloveth) and mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano (Ghost, Angel Witch, Primordial). It contains eight tracks in total and continues the conceptual themes of our previous albums.
We are of course really proud of how it has turned out. It took a lot longer than expected but we feel it’s a further evolution in terms of the overall song writing and the Mael Mórdha sound. It’s also a little bit darker and takes us into some interesting new areas. There is a bleakness to it in places but also some crushing heaviness, galloping riffs and the emotive melodies we know you all like.
As some of you are aware we’ve already played a couple of the tracks live and they’ve gone down really well, so we can’t wait for the rest of you to hear it! Stay tuned for more news in the weeks ahead. The countdown has begun!"

Mael Mórdha hat geschrieben:We know that many of you were looking forward to hearing more Mael Mordha gig news so unfortunately this announcement is pretty much the opposite of what you were hoping for. Regrettably we bring you the sad news that Rob has decided to leave the band. This news has been a huge shock for the rest of us and we are still struggling to take it in. His reasons are personal and we expect that in time he will make his own announcement. While this news has very obviously knocked us sideways, we are determined that Mael Mordha will continue. The band and its music is bigger than any individual member and while we know that it will not be easy to continue without Rob, we are firm believers that what doesn't kill you will make you stronger and in time the band will emerge as an even more formidable force. Our perseverance in making this happen will be greatly helped by your support. If you believe in this band like we do then please get behind us on this journey. Thank you all. Mael Mórdha.
