Now this is gonna be a big one, because we are finally announcing our first Headliner. So without further ado, please welcome The Obsessed Official to our Lineup.
The Obsessed Official was originally formed all the way back in the late 70's in Maryland by legendary guitarist Scot "Wino" Weinrich (Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, Shrinebuilder, Probot etc.). The band spawned in the realm of musicians such as Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa, The Dictators and The Stooges, and ever since the release of their first EP "Sodden Jackal" in 1983, they have played an essential role in the rise of Heavy-Metal as a whole.
In 2017, The Obsessed Official released "Sacred", their first studio album in over 20 years. With renewed energy and purpose, they sound heavier and more relevant than ever before; and through enormous, heavy riffs and rumbling low-end they once again deliver eternal doom onto stages all over the world.
This will be the first time that The Obsessed Official are playing in South Tyrol. And we feel honoured to welcome Scott Wino - a living legend and the true "Master of Doom" - at the Crystal Mountain Festival.
It seems that our search for the mightiest of riffs has come to an end... These guys are as heavy and uncompromising as it gets, and their sludgy Stoner-Metal riffs will get stuck in your heads until you die. If we couldn't already persuade you to visit our festival, they surely will.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are psyched to present Weedeater as our second and final headliner for Crystal Mountain 2019!
Now those guys do not need any further introduction, so let's make this short: Weedeater was born in the mid-90's in North Carolina. The band was initially planned as a side project of "Dixie" Dave Collins, who was otherwise engaged with sludge metal cult favorites Buzzov'en at that time. However, upon that band's official demise in 1998, "Dixie" was free to concentrate his efforts on Weedeater, which released their debut album titled "...And Justice for Y'all" in 2001. Since then Weedeater have put out four more albums (the last of which - "Goliathan" released in 2015), every single one of them already being classics in the Stoner-Metal scene.
Weedeater are the masters of fuzz-ridden, sludgy, straight up in-your-face Stoner-Metal. On top of meathook bass melodies, ample guitar fuzz and bone-crushing cymbals, Dixies' howling vocals make it clear that those guys do not give any fucks... about anything... except weed...
So be warned: This is not your cookie-cutter, radio-friendly Rock-Music. This is raw and unapologetic Southern heaviness at its best. And we can't wait for it!
Hopefully you are as excited as we are about Weedeater headlining the Crystal Mountain Festival. And we hope to see you there on July 26/27. Until then,..
God luck and good speed!

Oh, so you thought that we were already done with our Lineup? Well, you were wrong, as we still have one final band left to announce. Please bid welcome to Shame On Youth!
In an article on "Franzmagazine", Flo (from Junk Love) simply described Shame On Youth as "one of the hottest bands around right now". We, as well as everyone else who has seen them live, wholeheartedly agree with that statement. There's just something about this band that feels right, be it their raw and dirty Garage-Rock sound, their nod to the spirit of early Punk-Rock, their uncompromising and high-energy live shows, or their DIY-mentality (proven by the fact that they produced their debut EP "Zero" all by themselves). Whatever it may be, Shame On Youth's music is essentially what good Rock n' Roll is all about. It will make you chug a beer, bang your head, go "Fuck Yeah!", and punch a cow in its face... don't do that tho... don't punch cows!
...What I'm trying to say is this: Shame On Youth is just pure and awesome Rock n' Roll. Period! But don't take my word for it, click on the Youtube-Link below and check out their EP. Or even better: Check them out live at the Crystal Mountain Festival, chug a few beers, bang your head, and punch some... no, seriously, leave those cows alone!

Natürlich hier auch zu erwähnen:

We just got some bad news: The Obsessed will NOT be able to play at the Crystal Mountain Festival.
While we are deeply sorry for having to change the lineup on such short notice, we want you all to know that we are already in talks with possible replacements. Rest assured that we will NOT dissapoint you and that the new headliner will be nothing short of amazing. So stay tuned!
Here is the bands official statement:
"Dear fans, friends and promoters, due to unpredictable circumstances which are out of control of the band, we are very sorry to inform you that THE OBSESSED is been forced to cancel all dates in europe (except UK) which are booked for summer 2019. Again: The band will do all UK shows as scheduled…!
We do all we can to catch up the missed club dates later in 2019 or 2020. We are very sorry for this news but at this point it is been impossible for the band to play the summer tour.

!! BAND ANNOUNCEMENT AND TIMETABLE !!
Our official timetable is finally here!
As stated before, one of our headliners (The Obsessed) unfortunately had to cancel their live gig at the Crystal Mountain Festival. We promised you an awesome and worthy replacement and are now happy to deliver. Please bid welcome to our new headliner: ASG.
These hard-hitting Southern Rockers from North Carolina (US) formed back in 2001. Since then they have realeased 6 full lenght albums, the last of which ("Survive Sunrise") just released in 2018. The sound of ASG could be described as a good mixture of Stoner-Metal, Southern Rock and Punk, but bears its own unique and unresistable character. If you're a fan of Kyuss or Queens Of The Stone Age, you can't go wrong with these guys.
Since we switched Weedeater to Friday, ASG will be headlining on Saturday 27th July. We hope you are as excited about them as we are! See you in two weeks!
