Hmm, hat leicht der Kubik Peter vergessen sich die Namensrechte zu sichern und der Tannenberger Thomas macht jetzt draus ein Techno Projekt
btw, hat sich jemand von euch die "Quintessence" zugelegt ?
Ich überleg grad, bin aber skeptisch, da die Scheibe so wie sie damals rauskam immer noch mein Lieblings Abigor Album ist, weiss nicht wie sich das jetzt auf dieser Mischung aus Neuaufnahme & remix anhört.
Die Demos auf der 2. CD alleine sind die Anschaffung denke ich nicht wert, vor allem wenn man schon die Origo Regium rumstehen hat.

Mischen weiss ich nicht, aber der Tannenberger Thomas hat die Absurd Demos neu gemastered für die Life beyond the Grave compilation.
Und Hendrik Möbus steuerte ja damals Lyrics für "The Dark Kiss" auf Nachthymnen bei.

Die 6x LP Box: 1994 - 1998 - PK Silenius TT - the complete Hörnix recordings ist jetzt auf Soulseller records erschienen. (Genaugenommen wurde ja auch die "Channelling..." im Hörnix aufgenommen, aber ohne Silenius).
Umfasst die Alben Verwüstung, Orkblut (+ Shadowlord `95), Nachthymnen, Opus IV, Apokalypse & Supreme Immortal Art. Mit Bookletheft mit den original Artworks sowie langem Begleittext von Tannenberger Thomas..
Ist eine schöne Box geworden.

Not that we would or could fill this gap, but in Abigor´s very own stubborn way and with the old-school execution of mentioned masterpieces, our new album was recorded without a single „blastbeat“, without multi-guitar madness or downtuned disharmonic riffing.
String wise, minimalism was the law - only one guitar left, one guitar right, and a bass in the middle. Not one single additional guitar-track to add soli, melodies or double-tracks.
Lyrically, all hokuspokus and theological pondering was avoided. It´s not an album of a seeker, or about one´s initiation, or to lecture, but about the Devil and the Devil only! An impulsive work stripped down to the very basics that maybe could have been released in the 1990s.
This technical restriction as well as a focus on the the evil force that sparked Black Metal ablaze at the beginning of the 90s also torched our work again.
Silenius is soon starting to record the vocals, and you can expect the new Abigor LP and CD after the summer makes way for the autumn´s gloom.
Here´s the first 3 - maybe not too representative, more soon to come - instrumental extracts (PLAY AT LOUD VOLUME!) to an album that will feature the following songs:

ich bin ja oft auch so, dass ich was nicht höre weil es alle anderen hören. bei dso hält sich der "mainstream" aber doch in grenzen.
sie sind musikaliscg, allerdings schon eher schwererer stoff. nichts zum nebenbei hören.
gibt auch einige interessante artikeln über ihren philosophischen ansatz im satanismus

alles klar, verstehe. (und: ok, also wirklich diese band und kein obskurer abkürzungs-hip)
bei mir ist das meistens so, dass ich zwar bands nicht prinzipiell nicht höre nur weil es alle anderen hören, aber halt ohnehin wenig zeit hab zum wo reinhören.
und wenn eine band auf jeder zweiten jacke plötzlich aufgenäht ist (vor allem auch bei leuten, die mir hochgradig suspekt sind - nicht wegen der politischen einstellung, sondern menschlich [das eine geht mit dem anderen nämlich nicht automatisch hand in hand, auch wenn das viele nicht wahrhaben wollen]) und in allen möglichen situationen diskutiert wird, dann bin ich fast immer instinktiv noch richtig gelegen, keine zeit daran zu vergeuden, sondern mich lieber mit bands zu beschäftigen, die ich ohnehin schon lange vor hatte, aber auch nicht dazu gekommen bin...
klingen aber beschreibungsmäßig nicht völlig unspannend. in der pension halt dann, wenn ich schon taub bin...
