also ich kann ja mittlerweile damit leben, dass sie das verfilmen, weil mit den LOTR filmen eh scho alles versaut wurde, was die fantasie übrig hat, aber wieso zum deibl nennen die den film "The Hobbit: an unexpected journey" ???????

das buch heißt The Hobbit or There And Back Again, das Buch, das Bilbo in LOTR schreibt heißt There And Back Again - A Hobbit's Tale by Bilbo Baggins und mal davon abgesehen klingts blöd.

Stimmt jetzt wo dus sagst. Heißt ja auch "A unexpected party" in LotR.

jep genau, 1. Kapitel...bei mir hats auch sehr lange Filmabstinenz gebraucht,
bis beim Lesen von HDR wieder die eigenen Bilder kamen...aber im Prinzip hat ers scho gut gmacht, der Jackson

Echt? Aja nachgeschaut. Es heißt beim Hobbit "Ein unerwartetes Fest" bzw. "Ein langerwartetes Fest" im HdR. Auf Englisch "An unexpected Party" beim Hobbit und "A long expected Party" bei LotR.
So ich hoff jetzt paßts. Und Sorry für das vergessene "n". Als grammar nazi sollt einem das nicht passieren.

ich denke der titel soll halt für den ganzen film stehen und nicht nur für den anfang. PJ hätte auch Party nehmen können, aber das find ich jetzt nicht so schlimm, der 2te teil heisst dann "There And Back Again".

Schlimm find ichs eh auch nicht mir isses nur gar nicht aufgefallen, genauso die zwei fast gleichen Kapitelnamen im Hobbit und HdR.

es wird so gut wie sicher wieder extended editions geben, sie denken anscheinend auch über einen dritten film nach, da es eine menge an material gibt und PJ nächstes jahr noch einiges zusätzlich filmen will. vor allem die anhänge von HdR werden hierfür verwendet.

das wqär vielleicht auch eine halbwegs! adäquate form für die LOTR trilogie gewesen

es werden 3 filme! dezember 2012, dezember 2013, sommer 2014.

An unexpected journey

It is only at the end of a shoot that you finally get the chance to sit down and have a look at the film you have made. Recently Fran, Phil and I did just this when we watched for the first time an early cut of the first movie - and a large chunk of the second. We were really pleased with the way the story was coming together, in particular, the strength of the characters and the cast who have brought them to life. All of which gave rise to a simple question: do we take this chance to tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as the filmmakers, and as fans, was an unreserved ‘yes.'

We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance. The richness of the story of The Hobbit, as well as some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, allows us to tell the full story of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the part he played in the sometimes dangerous, but at all times exciting, history of Middle-earth.

So, without further ado and on behalf of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Wingnut Films, and the entire cast and crew of “The Hobbit” films, I’d like to announce that two films will become three.

It has been an unexpected journey indeed, and in the words of Professor Tolkien himself, "a tale that grew in the telling."
