It's is with great sadness to announce that Terry Jones of Pagan Altar finally lost his extremely Brave Battle with cancer this morning 15th May @ 10:15
Terry has been fighting this for the past year with me Lynn and his family always by his side ..
You all know how much he loved performing and especially to all the wonderful PA Fans he had a pleasure too meet , We are all devoted by his loss and will miss him more then words can say ..
And would like to thank you for your loyal support and love all these years ..

Today we mourn the death of legendary Pagan Altar singer Terry Jones. They played both Hammer Of Doom Festival and KEEP IT TRUE Festival. Terry's voice was always a love it or hate it thing, but always unique...I loved it on every single note he sang. The great magician is gone now forever..RIP Terry

durfte seine großartigen darbietungen am doom shall rise festival, hammer of doom festival, heavy days in doomtown festival und doom over vienna erleben, es wäre also unangebracht - in anbetracht seines schon länger schlechten gesundheitszustandes und doch fortgeschrittenen alters - hier zu jammern anzufangen. trotzdem hätte ich es gern noch etliche weitere stunden live erlebt

es gibt wenige bands, die ich musikalisch so schätze wie pagan altar. eternal love&worship, terry! - this is the age, the age of sodom.
