The Mordor d.o.o. company, who is the founder and first promoter of the festival, has taken the festival over again. The Metalcamp Slovenia safeguards all the original characteristics, such as the location, the date, the program and the production although there will be some significant changes which present a new beginning for the festival.

After the magical 7 years of the Metalcamp festival, the time for changes has come. Now, it is time for a new, updated festival that will continue the story of the biggest Slovenian metal festival and our vision of the heavy metal culture. We warmly thank you for all your support and understanding.

Hm scheinbar gibts da zwischen ehemaligen Partnern eine kleine Meinungsverschiedenheit. Und nun wollen beide am selben Wochenende ein Metalcamp in Tolmin veranstalten.

Naja, ich würde eher auf RTN und Boban setzen.

it now came to our attention that this party is working on their own festival. no problem with this, but the fact that they use the name 'metalcamp slovenia' and state amongst artists and METALCAMP fans - they have taken over METALCAMP and renamed it into 'metalcamp slovenia', is not correct.
the law/court will have to take care abt. this now, which unfortunately will take some time.
meanwhile, there might temporary come up confusions to everybody concered with METALCAMP which we are very sorry abt., but wich is nothing we can change at the moment.

ach sind die alle auf der 2nd stage? dann is alles klar!

die meisten werden dort spielen, nehme ich an. bis vor 3 jahren wars so, dass dort ja immer nur eine handvoll leute waren bei den gigs, obwohls eigentlich schön gelegen im schattigen wald ist und der sound gnadenlos gut ist.

ob sich das verbessert hat, wäre interessant

die müssen aber gewaltig sellen...hab die meisten namen noch NIE gehört!
aber soll gut sein...in Ö werden heimische bands ohnehin BOY-KOTIERT!
