Hab ich schon mal erwähnt, dass ich wenig von Booking Agencies halte? Kurz nach Saturnalia Temple also jetzt Artillery.

As we write these words, we realize it is the very first time we are unable to play a tour...
This morning we still had numerous contractial deficiencies as we were waiting in the airport, hoping until the last minute, that everything would be settled, but sadly no.
No return tickets, no finished contractial agreement, no information about equipment and we were told several times to be patient, even though nothing happened. Procrastination and telling us stories to keep our hopes up.
Booker couldn't be reached, but would write back sporadically, telling us that he had financial problems but at the same time, that everything would be fixed. In the end we had no more patience. We told him, that we had to have secured flights home in the very least. On this we were told stories we knew weren't true. The decision was out of our hands.
We had no option, since the failings on the bookers behalf made it impossible for us to play.
It feels surreal to tell you this and you must know for sure, that we never wanted this!
We always play, no matter what, but we are not fools and we will not support the workings of a conman! We feel so sorry for this and we deeply hope that we can see each other at another gig. And to you guys in the bands who would have supported us. We have not recieved any money and we would have loved to hang out and play together.
This is a f***ed up situation! Just because of a contractual breach which could have been fixed and avoided.
We will see you again under a brighter sky!

Wie ihr weiter unten dem Statement von Artillery entnehmen könnt, ist das heutige Konzert, bzw. die gesamte Tour abgesagt :/
Im Grunde kann ich alles, was die Band schreibt, nachvollziehen. Wir haben selbst ewig nix vom der Bookingagentur ENEMY BOOKING gehört. Es war schriftlich ausgemacht, dass eine Supportband mit Artillery mitkommt und wir 2 lokale Supports buchen können.
Im Jänner bekam ich ein Mail einer Band, die meinte, wir sollen sie im Event dazuschreiben, das wäre die 2. Supportband gewesen. Ich hab der Bookingagentur geschrieben und gefragt, was das soll. Tage später hab ich Antwort erhalten, dass die Band in Wien nicht spielen wird und alles bleibt wie ausgemacht. Die Band selbst war nicht besonders glücklich drüber. Gleichzeitig schrieb mir ENEMY BOOKING, dass sie die Agentur zusperren mussten und das hier die letzte Tour sein wird, die sie machen. Da ich öfters mit ihnen zusammengearbeitet hab, dachte ich nicht weiter an böses. Anfang März schrieb mir dann eine andere Band, ich soll sie in den Event schreiben, sie wären Support für Artillery, die gleiche Geschichte wiederholte sich. Mit dem Unterschied, dass die Band angeblich schon die Flüge gebucht hatte.
Dann war 2 Monate Funktstille, erst am Montag meldete sich plötzlich die Bookingagentur und informierte uns, dass wir eine komplette Backline für ARTILLERY benötigen, weil sie mit nix kommen. Auch das war neu und ich fragte die Agentur, warum sie da 2 Tage vor der Show draufkommen. Der Booker meinte, er hätte so viel Arbeit gehabt. Ja genau...da wir aber eine komplette Backline im Club haben, war das für mich jetzt nicht so tragisch.
So viel zum Booker. Für mich ärgerlich ist aber, dass die Band HEUTE, ein paar Stunden vor der Show draufkommt, dass ihnen Informationen etc. fehlen. Das kanns ja auch nicht sein. Sie haben doch schon die ganze Zeit gewusst, dass sie noch keine Infos und Tickets bekommen haben?
Wie auch immer, übrig bleiben die Veranstalter, die bereits alles organisiert haben, Werbungen geschalten, Hotels gebucht, Supports organisiert, etc., die Supports, die die Anreise geplant und Tickets verkauft haben und natürlich die Fans von Artillery, die tlw. aus den Bundesländern, oder ev. sogar aus dem Ausland anreisen und ebenfalls bereits Karten gekauft haben.
Das ist mehr als ärgerlich und nicht die Art zu arbeiten, wie ich mir das vorstelle.
Es tut mir wirklich leid, dass das so gelaufen ist und mal wieder eine Bookingagentur komplett versagt hat.
Da ich nun auch nichtmal weiß, was mit TERRAVORE ist, bleibt mir nix anderes übrig, als die Show abzusagen, Tickets könnt ihr bei den Vorverkaufsstellen zurückgeben. Ob das Konzert irgendwann nachgeholt wird, steht in den Sternen. Es tut mir leid für die Umstände, wir sind da leider selbst nur Beifahrer und können nur zuschauen, was passiert :/
