Beitrag von Ravenpride »

Philomena Lynott (22 October 1930 – 12 June 2019) was an Irish author and entrepreneur. She was the mother of Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott, and her autobiography, My Boy, documents the relationship between her and her son. She was the proprietor of the Clifton Grange Hotel, Manchester, which provided accommodation for a number of bands in the 1970s including Thin Lizzy.

Johnny Stoj (PEGAZUS) hat geschrieben:So sad to hear of the passing of Philomena Lynott yesterday. She was someone who truly had all the time in the world for anyone who got to know her. I first got in contact with her nearly 20 years ago when I wrote the song 'Ballad of a Thin Man' as a tribute to her son Philip Lynott. She absolutely loved the song and we had some great conversations over the phone and the old written letter in the post from time to time.
She told me that she was officially our bands number one fan in Ireland. Here she is proudly wearing her Pegazus girly top and a scarf my mum had also sent her.
