[Ravenpride]

The old ruin pierces the horizon just like it did 35 years ago. Its stones have been erected and stand against thunder and lightning for almost 1000 years. We draw our inspiration from ancient monuments, yet we must create monuments for the next 1000 years. We may have failed, but at least we attempted to do so.

Here´s a short presentation of the actual album, the vinyls, booklet, stickers and everything else coming with it.
ps: Interesting choice (by DSR) concerning the song. "Kingdom Of Darkness" became a gamechanger for us. ABIGOR was founded on the the ruins of old riffs and immature ideas of reckless teenagers, reflected by the first demo in 1993. But this approach changed with the next song, opening a whole new chapter and a new level of seriousness. One early winter evening that year, 33 years ago, P.K. came down the stairs for a rehearsal in our cellar, and presented the first 2 riffs of this song. We felt something was different by then. I have added the other parts and the result, "Kingdom Of Darkness", became the most important song of ABIGOR´s early days. The sample of Ingmar Bergman´s "The 7th Seal" delivered the theme and our whole second demo, the concept work "lux devicta est", was built around that idea of a medieval pest-ridden land, where the infernal gate was opened and darkness ruled. Bergman and Doré set the stage, "the rest is history", so they say.
