STUDIO REPORT: DAY 1 & 2

Confirmed: EPICUS DRUMICUS METALLICUS have been conceived in the old fashion, the way it has to be!

Francisco Aguirre did a great fuckin dedicated job, drums are done now, also reference guitars... it was a freakin marathon and i´m already sick of my own riffs...

Tomorrow we just choose the best nut-kicking takes before starting with the gut-ripping work of Claudio on the bass guitar, starting really early again.

No funny stories, this is DOOM METAL.

STUDIO REPORT: DAYS 3/4

Approved, sealed and worshipped: BASS ( and i write it with proper big characters) is done now and the raw mix with the drums has become one of the heaviest things i´ve ever heard in my condemned existence. Pounding every second and blowing the speakers with every arrangement, solos, etc. Claudio managed to create such an atmosphere with excellent licks and bridges full of heavy metal anger!!!
A fucking perpetual pulse that´s kicking our guts!!!
Of course this part of the process couldn´t exist in a boring state of soberty and consciousness, so we have been drinking a lot of beers,listened to Manowar, Riot and Black Sabbath went to a couple of bars, spoke loads of shit and made it happen as if it was any random weekend...loyalty!
This has been the best recording sessions ever.
I start with the guitars on Monday...

STUDIO REPORT: DAYS 5/6/7/8 etc...
Bollocks...between barbecue and unstoppable drinking sessions since last wednesday, body is damaged and i started guitars yesterday with a fucking cold. Anyway the first rythm guitars for: "Hyperion", "Destroyers Of The Faith" and "Chants Of The Nameless" are done now. Today we continue with the rest...

STUDIO REPORT: DAY 9
"SLOW & PROUD"

Just arriving home after the 2nd session/6 hours of guitars...is it 48 strings per side enough for your heavy metal needs? OH YOU BET IT IS!
Rythm guitars for "Hyperion", "Destroyers..." and "Chants..." are done now. Also the first section for "Tomb..." and "The Road To The Gravegarden".
Tomorrow: early again with what´s left, arrangements, licks and solos of death.

OK, after an exhausting session of 10 hours finishing some rythm guitars, melodies, mistakes and mighty soloing, the MUSIC for "Destroyers Of The Faith" is finished. Now we rest for a couple of days to start with vocals on Sunday...

im prinzip sind die beiden ja noch geiler, aber halt leider unscharf worden. da kommt die gesammelte doominbrunst so richtig zur geltung




und bsoffen wards alle beide wie die feldhaubizen, im krassen gegensatz zu mir

PROCESSION spielen im Februar eine kleine Deutschland-Tour und suchen noch Auftrittsmöglichkeiten.
Es geht konkret um folgende Termine:
