Pagan Altar at the houses of the holy festival Austria
I will write in a bit more depth about this festival next week because I’m still a bit knackered at the moment and my brain is not functioning properly.
I would like to thank everybody involved with the festival. They were all very welcoming and really made sure we had everything we needed and it was a pleasure to play at this festival. I would recommend it to any band that gets asked to play here, it was an experience I will not forget.
On the gig itself we did struggle with the sound onstage and it was a fight to hear anything clearly which made it feel like we had all played badly at the time. A couple of us had a couple of senior moments during the set and I did a howler in the Danse macabre, but a lot of that was not being able to hear what everybody was doing. Although it was quite tough I still enjoyed myself and there was some good moments in that set. The audience seemed to have had a good time and enjoyed it and that is all that matters.
