30 years ago when Tyketto was lucky enough to land the opening slot for the summer leg of the Nelson band US tour we were so grateful to be so warmly welcomed by each and every member of that outstanding band. Perhaps none more so than Joey Cathcart. Joey was an absolute fireball of energy on and off stage. As upbeat and happy a person as you could ever hope to meet. A great guitar player, singer, performer and human being. We all have some wonderful memories of our time spent together and we are heartbroken to hear of his recent passing. Our love and condolences go out to his fans, friends, family and loved ones. Joey will be sorely missed.
